Less is More: Activities

Waste not, want not: How do we contribute to the packaging waste problem? As future designers, how could we improves things? This activity takes one lesson and includes a homework activity. An extension activity using a fast food outlet is also included.
Past packaging: How were products packaged in the past? This activity takes approximately two lessons and includes primary research as a homework activity. It encourages students to understand that future designers can make a difference.
Positive packaging: How effective are different types of packaging? This activity takes approximately two lessons and asks students to do a presentation. Extension activities and ideas for design and make activities are also included.
