Fair Textiles: Activities

Natural Dyes: How can you add colour to textiles without harming the environment? This activity takes approximately one hour and takes the form of an experiment using flowers, berries or fruit to colour fabric naturally.

Ignorance is bliss - Does is matter how much we know about where our clothes come from? This activity takes approximately 20 minutes and encourages children to analyse items of clothing from home. Where is it from? What is it made from? Does it matter?
