The play pump's water storage tank is raised up in the air on a 6-metre high stand, making it a noticeable local landmark. The designers decided to make the most of this by fixing advertising hoardings to the side of the tank.

There are also plans to use the hoardings to display HIV and AIDS awareness posters. A local community action programme will then reinforce the message of the posters and look for new ways to prevent the spread of the disease.
